What is window film?

Window film is a polyester film, typically made of Polyethylene Terephthalate ("PET"). Most film is applied to the inside surface of a glass window in a home, business building, boat, or vehicle. They have a scratch safe covering on the external surface to secure the film. There are numerous kinds of window films. Some are clear and highlight numerous layers of PET to offer security from breaking glass and others are tinted with metals, tints, or shades to lessen the  light transmitted through the glass and warmth coming from the sun.

The procedure begins with completely cleaning your windows to expel even the littlest bits of grime and dirt. A bit of film is sliced generally to the size of your window, its discharge liner is taken off and an application fluid is splashed on the film's tacky side to enact it. The solution  is additionally applied  on the window. The film is then positioned on the glass and the solution is squeezed out from between the glass and film using a squeegee. The last touch is edge cutting to guarantee the film fits consummately.

Does the tint go on the inside or outside of the window?
